Modern Swedish gastronomy
At Koka we have chosen to work with mainly local producers, growers and breeders. We are organic certified by KRAV and always try to have a good environmental focus in all our parts of the business. We start with our menu planning from vegetables and the sea and allow the meat to be a complement more than anything that is going to circle.
The cooking at Koka can probably be described as focused and pleasurable. The main raw material in each dish must come forward and take the place it deserves. The plates should be able to be both playful, technically driven but above all very good.
An extra dimension
Of course, all menus can be obtained vegetarian or based on seafood. The interaction between food and drink is as important to us as the dishes themselves. Therefore, we dare to say that the drink menu will add an extra dimension to your visit.
We think Koka is a very nice restaurant, but we do not want to be the classic fine dining restaurant. Come on a visit and we think you understand what we mean.

A gift card for a dining experience is the perfect gift
We have chosen to make a gift card that applies to all our restaurants in the Kock & Vin group. Koka, the Family, Björns Bar & Persson at the Wharf. You choose the amount you wish for the gift card and how many gift cards you want. The gift card is valid one year from the date of issue. Our gift cards are sent by mail, the following day with standard mail. Note that we only accept Swish-payment in our web shop. You will have the Swish-number in the confirmation mail.

During the period from the 25th of November until the 20ieth of December we offer you to buy a gift card on a 4-course menu for only 495 SEK (ordinary price 645 SEK). The gift card is valid Monday-Thursday during the period 2/1-16/4 2020.
So take the opportunity and give your loved ones a very appreciated gift and if you have been kind and have the right luck then maybe they will let you come along.
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WORKING OR INTERNSHIPS WITH US?
WORKAt the moment we have no vacancies but if you are interested in working with us do not hesitate to send us a spontaneous email. We often need an extra hand in the kitchen or on the floor, mostly on weekends and when we have special bookings that require a lot of professional staff. If you have a genuine commitment and a team spirit then you might be just the person we are looking for. We do however prefer applicants with experience in similar work. Students with experience in restaurant work and that come with good testimonials from colleagues in the industry are always welcome.
We only take a small number of pupils, but offer a very stimulating and informative training period.
However, we require that you promise to commit yourself to the task and that you have a genuine commitment to food, drink and service. We do not take students for a shorter period than 3 weeks.
