Local producers

At Koka we have chosen to work with mainly local producers, growers and breeders. We are organic certified by KRAV and always try to have a good environmental focus in all our parts of the business. We start with our menu planning from vegetables and the sea and allow the meat to be a complement more than anything that is going to circle.

The cooking at Koka can probably be described as focused and pleasurable. The main raw material in each dish must come forward and take the place it deserves. The plates should be able to be both playful, technically driven but above all very good.

An extra dimension

Of course, all menus can be obtained vegetarian or based on seafood. The interaction between food and drink is as important to us as the dishes themselves. Therefore, we dare to say that the drink menu will add an extra dimension to your visit.

We think Koka is a very nice restaurant, but we do not want to be the classic fine dining restaurant. Come on a visit and we think you understand what we mean.

A gift card for a dining experience is the perfect gift

We have chosen to make a gift card that applies to all our restaurants in the Kock & Vin group. Koka, the Family, Björns Bar & Persson at the Wharf. You choose the amount you wish for the gift card and how many gift cards you want. The gift card is valid one year from the date of issue. Our gift cards are sent by mail, the following day with standard mail. If you are out in the last minute you can always go to one of the restaurants during regular opening hours to get a gift card the same day.


A really nice Christmas gift at a special price. A 4 course-menu for only 475 kr (regular price 645 kr)

The perfect Christmas gift is a dinner experience beyond the usual. The Gift card is sold for a limited time between the 12th of November until the 21st of December and is valid Mondays thru Thursdays between the 3rd of January until the 18th of April 2019.

With the gift card you will receive a link to a booking calendar so that you can find available dates. 



At the moment we have no vacancies but if you are interested in working with us do not hesitate to send us a spontaneous email. We often need an extra hand in the kitchen or on the floor, mostly on weekends and when we have special bookings that require a lot of professional staff. If you have a genuine commitment and a team spirit then you might be just the person we are looking for. We do however prefer applicants with experience in similar work. Students with experience in restaurant work and that come with good testimonials from colleagues in the industry are always welcome.

We only take a small number of pupils, but offer a very stimulating and informative training period.

However, we require that you promise to commit yourself to the task and that you have a genuine commitment to food, drink and service. We do not take students for a shorter period than 3 weeks.

Catering for parties and events

Is there an office to be opened, 50-year-anniversary or maybe a company party? Well, regardless of size, it’s always important to get it right. You certainly know how you want it, but we can help you as a ballboard and come up with creative ideas to realize your thoughts.

We have long experience of everything from weddings to wine tastings, so please contact us to bump some ideas and we will promise you a very professional implementation.
